Founder Clemens Pompeÿ brings 15+ years of corporate innovation and venture clienting — including at the innogy Innovation Hub — and, as co-founder of Impact Farm, Prototype.club and vencly, has delivered 41+ real innovation projects between Mittelstand companies and startups. That same mechanism now powers the platform.

Innovation Republic is a non-profit initiative that curates innovation projects for small and medium-sized companies. We clarify the need and connect you to the right partners — startup matching, funding, consulting and more, added continuously. All clearly laid out in the cockpit, you stay in control.
For small and medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries that want to implement a concrete innovation or digitalisation project but need guidance on need, provider selection and funding. Also public bodies and administrations with curatable needs.
Requirement clarification and provider matching are free for SMBs and industry. Concrete sprint implementations are billed directly between the provider and the client — with public funding wherever possible. IR refinances itself through success fees on brokered contracts. One exception worth knowing: if a comparison procedure already under way is abandoned, or no order follows within three months, fees under § 8 (4) of our terms apply — €500 before kick-off, and thereafter 10 % of the average quote, minimum €2,500.

Non-profit status under § 52 AO was already confirmed in a preliminary review by the Munich tax office 3 in December 2025.
