Innovation Republic is a non-profit initiative by entrepreneurs from the German Mittelstand. The sponsoring entity (target: Innovation Republic gGmbH) is being formed — non-profit status under § 52 AO was already decided positively in a preliminary review by the Munich tax office 3 in December 2025. Pilot region: Munich & Upper Bavaria. Further hubs will follow across Germany.
Until an Innovation Republic e.V. of its own is founded, vencly GmbH (Munich, HRB 290524) acts as operating sponsor, including platform operations, contract handling and data protection responsibility. Responsible: Clemens Pompeÿ.

The pilot region is Munich & Upper Bavaria with its more than 460,000 companies and businesses. We want to roll out across Germany through regional partnerships — each region gets a hub of its own with local branding and political patronage.
